Since its founding in 1992, Al Shaqab has hosted a wide variety of dignitaries
and celebrities that come to see the organization's world renowned Arabian horses.
British Royalty was recently hosted by Al Shaqab as Princess Michael of Kent visited the stables and was presented a private showing. The wife of Prince Michael, a cousin of England's Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, commented on the beauty and grace of the Al Shaqab Arabians.
In addition to her literary skills, Princess Michael's love of history and art has led to a distinguished lecture career discussing French and English history. She has spoken all over the world typically for charities. Her busy schedule includes about thirty engagements a year including countries such as Canada, Argentina, Greece, Austria, Switzerland and Russia, for charitable causes, national institutions and museums and galleries.
