Al Shaqab Victorious in Saudi Arabia
Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, brought home the title of Champion Colt from the Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival Show in Al Khalediah, KSA, January 27-29.
Fadi Al Shaqab won his class of 2-year-old colts with an impressive 93.13 points and went on to capture the Champion Colt title over all the highest placing colts in the show. Al Shaqab also had further success with Amir Al Shaqab, winning the 3-year-old colt class.

The Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival is a celebration of the Arabian horse and its multiple disciplines, hosted by HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia . Purebred Arabian horses were presented in the horse show from all over the Middle East and Europeto compete for their respective halter titles.
Al Shaqab continues its show tour through the Middle East next week at the Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship in Abu Dhabi , UAE.

Al Shaqab was founded in 1992 by The Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani to preserve and further develop the Arabian horse in Qatar , the equestrian center became a member of Qatar Foundation in 2004. Al Shaqab's mission is to promote the highest standards in the breeding and showing of Arabian horses and provide innovative, educational and competitive opportunities in all of the equestrian arts.
