With the capable guidance of Sheikh Hamad Bin Ali Al Thani, Al Shaqab has consistently gathered Arabian horses from the finest sources around the world to create and improve its breeding program. 

Significant early acquisitions from such renowned farms as Imperial, Ansata and the Gucci herd continue to influence Al Shaqab's bloodstock, and the herd has recently been enhanced with a new group of horses selected especially to complement their three World Champion Stallions.  Al Shaqab remains committed to a select straight Egyptian breeding component, as well as to a significant international program reflecting a broad variety of successful bloodlines.  

While celebrating its past successes, Al Shaqab looks forward to an exciting future, preserving a breeding program that honors the precious heritage of Qatar and its purebred Arabian horses.
