Al Shaqab Offers World-Class Stock in Private Horse Auction at the Open House

Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, will hold an open house, which will include a private horse auction, on February 22, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at Al Shaqab, which is located within Education City.

The first ever Al Shaqab Open House will welcome guests to tour the show stables and facilities. The open house will also include a dinner, presentation on the vision of Al Shaqab.  In the private auction, Al Shaqab will offer 29 pure-bred Arabian show horses in the auction from their highly successful Breeding & Show Department. 

The auction is a rare opportunity for the public to purchase Al Shaqab's world-class international and straight Egyptian Arabian bloodlines. The consignment includes offspring from Al Shaqab's three World Champion stallions - Marwan Al Shaqab, Al Adeed Al Shaqab and Gazal Al Shaqab - and other esteemed stallions such as WN Star of Antigua.
