    ABOUT BREEDING

    His Highness The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani established Al Shaqab in 1992 to enjoy his passion for Arabian horses, to honor the courageous war horses ridden by victorious Qatari knights of the past, and to assure the Arabian horse would continue to play a leading role in the cultural heritage of the Qatari people.

Mohamed Abdul Razaq Al-Emadi

Finance & HR Manager

Mohamed Abdul Razaq Al-Emadi has served Al Shaqab as the Head of Finance & Administration since January 2008.

The Qatar native, Al-Emadi is a graduate of University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A., with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance.

Al-Emadi started his career at Qatar Vinyl Company as a senior accountant in 2001 and then moved to Amiri Diwan at His Highness's Office as Head of section in the finance department. Currently at Al Shaqab, he is working to pass the professional exams for the Certificate Management Accounts (CMA) certification.

As Head of Finance & Administration, Al-Emadi looks to provide leadership and strategic planning for the department's activities to further fulfill the mission of Al Shaqab. He is proud to be part of the Al Shaqab team and eagerly awaits the future with the new world-class facilities.
