Al Shaqab International League

We are pleased to announce the international championship of the Al Shaqab League, qualifying for the finals of the International Equestrian Federation for Group Seven in the categories of future, juniors and youth riders. The championship is scheduled to take place on the 24th and 25th of November 2023, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Longines Indoor Arena in Shaqab. The competition will include the first round of the Shaqab League, featuring the one-star international ranking and local rounds.

 

The Al Shaqab International League Championship promises to be a spectacular sporting event showcasing the skills of the riders in show jumping competition. The goals of the Al Shaqab League Championship include establishing a distinguished league that provides a prominent platform for riders of various categories and focus on providing opportunities for young riders and aspiring female, junior, and all riders in general.

 

Registration for the event is open to all Riding Academy members and external riders.

All classes will adhere to the rules and regulations set by the FEI, except for the introductory classes. The event will include multiple categories in showjumping across various age groups.

 

The local categories will be as follows:

 

Intro 1(Height 40cm)

Intro 2 (Hight 60cm)

Intro 3 (Hight 80 cm)

 

The internationally classified categories will be as follows:

 

Future Champions – Ages 12 to14 (Height 105cm – 110cm), qualified for the finals of the International Equestrian Federation for group seven championship.

 

Junior Champions – Ages 14-18 (Height 115cm-120cm), qualified for the finals of the International Equestrian Federation for group seven championship.

 

Youth Champions – Ages 16 – 21 (Height 125cm-130cm) qualified for the finals of the International Equestrian Federation for group seven championship.

 

Ladies Category - Ladies Amateurs (Height 105cm)

 

Open Class – (Hight 125cm-130cm)
