    ABOUT BREEDING

    His Highness The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani established Al Shaqab in 1992 to enjoy his passion for Arabian horses, to honor the courageous war horses ridden by victorious Qatari knights of the past, and to assure the Arabian horse would continue to play a leading role in the cultural heritage of the Qatari people.

HAMAD NASSER ALI AL MANNAI

Facilities & Support Services Manager

Eng. Hamad Nasser Ali Al Mannai serves as the Facilities & Support Services Manager, joining the Al Shaqab team in 2010.

Al Mannai holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Qatar University in Doha, Qatar. Al Mannai brings Al Shaqab experience from past roles at Um Saeed Warves, Ministry of Power & Industry and most recently ASHGHAL, where he was the Section Head of Contract Services.

An avid horse rider and owner since he was 7 years old, his goals for his Al Shaqab position are to add to his facilities management experience, be a great team member, and manage the new construction project, according to his previous experiences in infrastructure projects and management.

Al Mannai states that the most important thing in his role with Al Shaqab is the good relations that he has gained by working with colleagues and QF staff, expressing that he really enjoys the field he is working in.

Al Mannai resides in Doha with his wife who is a Senior Accountant at the Ministry of Trade & Business and their five children – Lolowa, Nejoud, Mohammed, Moneera and Nasser.
