Khalifa Al Attiya
AL SHAQAB Executive DirectorMr. Khalifa Al Attiya was appointed as Executive Director of Al Shaqab in May 2016. Khalifa brings with him over ten years of extensive experience in the setup and development of high-class equine breeding and training programs. His substantial knowledge also allows him to oversee the strategy, management and marketing for breeding and sales programs of both Arabian and thoroughbred race horses in the UK, France, Qatar, and the US.
Prior to his new role, Khalifa worked with Al Shaqab Racing for five years, where he rose to the position of General Manager. In his new role, Khalifa will be responsible of overseeing all areas and operations of Al Shaqab.
Given his love for horses and equestrian sports, which runs deep in the Al-Attiyah family, Khalifa is well positioned to bring Al Shaqab to the next level in their endeavor to become a sustainable business entity in the years to come.
